Industrial Vintage

This house is an example of industrial vintage. A style that consists of grouping antiques and modern industrial inspired items ... the look was achieved by combining dark rustic wood grain, iron metal and Folk Red and Blue with accents of gold.

Dinning In Comfort

This is example of a dinning room that's breaks from traditional. One side of the table, I used a long settee with pillows and instead of a standard formal chandelier, I decided to use an industrial style light fixture that really makes a statement... This type of fusion is very typical of European design.

Touring Historic Homes - Dundurn Castle

As a designer I always love Touring historic homes and seeing the unique trimwork and their installation. Its very inspiring and can have a great influence on my style development. I recently visited The Dundurn House in Hamilton Ontario and found that it was full of great interior ideas for color, patterns and general house flow. Often knowing where we have been can give great insight to where we need to go.

Condo Lobby Design

Lobbies in commercial buildings are a special passion for me because it gives me an opportunity to bring the comforts of home to a community. Good lobby design consists of clearly defined gathering areas, comfortable and inspiring furniture choices and lots of natural light combined with artificial light.

Elegant Enhancements

The impact of a window should gently enhance and never overshadow, By adding curtains, blinds or shades, one can bring a sence of comfort, warmth, and harmony creating a peaceful oasis.

Summer Garden

A great way to improve your outdoor living space is to add flowers and bushes. A flower bed filled with masses of color will grab attention from spring through fall. A good rule of thumb is to stick to no more than three main colors and add variety by varying the shades within each color. Not only will your flower bed look more cohesive, but you’ll also be able to narrow down good choices at the garden center that much more quickly.

Get Inspired By Peonies

If you're like me, then the peony is likely one of your favorite garden flowers. Peonies are stunning as wedding flowers, in a vase, or growing in the garden. A colorful addition to any room, this dazzling peony arrangement will have you dreaming of a sunny spring day no matter what the season.

Lilacs from the Garden

Lilac's subtle color variations are perfect for creating painterly, layered arrangements. Gather blooms in two or more hues and group them by color gradation in a heavy vase. Retain some of the leaves on the shortest stems -- they'll form a bottom border of green. Display the composition in a foyer or another public space, where its heady scent and explosive beauty will dazzle guests.
