Infused with a spirit and put together with a happy informality. The spaces are intimate while at the same time, offer curl-up daydreaming spots to relax. From weathered artwork to warm stained wood, finishes are touchable rather than hands-off and only get better with age. the goal is to create an inviting interior with a carefree, well-lived-in look.

Flower Arrangement
To create a stunning flowers arrangement, is a simple process. Build the basic structure or line, add points of focus, and complete with filler for a gestural finish. In this example I uses peacock feathers a finishing touch to add height and accent the colors from the painting behind.

Asian Style Interiors
During a recent trip to Shanghai China, I spent some time to understand the Asian interior design. Asian style interiors instantly evoke an image of serenity and tranquil calm. With most of us engrossed in a fast-paced urban lifestyle, it helps immensely when we can come back home to a peaceful abode that allows us to escape this never-ending rush. Asian-themed interiors accomplish this goal in inimitable style by ushering in harmony and balance. Creating an Asian interior requires a fusion of several different styles while using distinctive elements from each style. The colors should be bold, such as regal reds, lavish gold, captivating jade and plush purple tones. These are some sample pictures I took while traveling in China.

Finding Inspiration in England
This past fall, I spent a few weeks in London England and Scotland. I wanted to be inspired by the architecture and art. I discovered the Hopetoun house situated on the outskirts of Edinburgh. It is considered one of the finest Stately Homes in the UK and gave me lots of great design ideas to incorprate into my style.
MY REFLECTION ON ENGLAND
It's a place that encourages leisurely contemplation and has deep-rooted history that emanates from almost every corner of the land. There's a sense that its towns and villages, castles and cathedrals have grown organically over many centuries, to create calming and comfortable landscapes that the mind settles into like a favorite armchair.
Tasteful Chinese New Years Decorating
Vibrant colors is what Chinese New Year decor is all about – red, round, and usually very loud – definitely festive but also kind of tacky.
The color red is auspicious in Chinese culture, signifying prosperity and good luck. However red as a shade can be jarring when found in big obvious items like cloth banners or giant paper lanterns. I like to instead add red touches to simple arrangements. Classy and subtle is what you should be aiming for, not overbearing and eyeball-burning.
Instead of generic store bought cardboard items, I opt for flowers that are always are a more elegant choices to jazz up any room. In Chinese culture, flowers signify the formation of fruits, which in turn represent rewards and wealth. Blossoming flower arrangements and evergreen plants symbolize renewal and good things to come in the lunar new year.
